title: MODERN APPROACHES TO TEACHING THE SPORT OF KURASH TO STUDENTS IN HIGHER EDUCATION INSTITUTIONS

description: This article analyzes modern pedagogical approaches to teaching the national sport of Kurash to students in higher education institutions. The study examines the implementation of the competency-based approach, differentiated instruction, digital technologies (including video analysis and biomechanical monitoring), game- and simulation-based training methods, as well as the integration of national and spiritual values with contemporary principles of sports pedagogy.  The research was conducted using questionnaires, pedagogical observation, and analysis of the educational process involving students and coaches from three higher education institutions specializing in Physical Education. The findings indicate that the experimental group, which was instructed through a blended learning approach, demonstrated significantly higher quality and faster acquisition of technical and tactical skills than the control group trained using traditional teaching methods.   The article concludes with practical recommendations aimed at improving the quality of professional training for Kurash specialists within the higher education system.
