It examines the syntactic and lexical structures, semantic functions, and linguistic role of measurement units. Measurement units are mostly used as nouns in Uzbek, and their singular or plural forms depend on the context. Units follow stringent grammatical restrictions and can be either countable or uncountable nouns in English. Additionally, the study emphasizes compound units, numeral usage, cross-linguistic parallels and contrasts, and practical applications. The results are useful for lexical-semantic analysis, translation, and language instruction.
